Our new home (not on Solsbury Hill, but in Sleepy Hollow)

Well, after a brief hiatus, I am lodging a complaint, I mean entry, after which I will return to my winter hibernation for the space of a time.

We fly to the Big D this Sunday evening - got bumped up to 1st Class, which is nice (I love the hot towels! What's up with that?) and we will be in temporary housing until the second week of January, when we close on our new place. Very excited to have a home with a fenced back yard.

Wikipedia is great - I learned yesterday that Peter Gabriel (http://www.solsburyhill.org) wrote "Solsbury Hill" after walking up to the top of Solsbury Hill after leaving Genesis. Ryewire (http://www.ryewire.com) is breaking up - call it the Bob Barker curse or something. I hope that Frans will go on to have a solo career of Gabrielian proportions. I also learned during my Wikipedia educational tangent that PG wrote "In Your Eyes" for Rosanna Arquette. This is the same Rosanna Arquette who had dated the Toto band member who wrote "Rosanna" about her. Sister of Patricia, who stars in Medium, a show I'm now hooked on after months of refusing to watch it since I was already at my limit of shows and didn't think it looked good. The lineup now includes "Daybreak", which is a mix of "24" and "Groundhog Day." A very intriguing show.

Solsbury Hill is in the key of Bmajor, as is "Here Comes the Flood." Cool.

OK, this is it for now. Please have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR. Give me lots of presents - it's the support from viewers like you that keep this blog on the air.

And now for a list:

  1. This is item "1" of the list.
  2. This is the second item.
  3. This would be the third, and final item. Thanks for playing.
